This month's show is a studio special with nine people jammed together in the small but comfortable African hip hop studio in Hilversum, the Netherlands. With emcees Zuluboy & dj D Boy, Rah P, Vieira, 3rd Eye, Sipho Sithole and hosts Drew, Revoltod & J4, you are in for a ride! On the occasion of their performance at B-Connected, the annual Music Mayday festival, we got to speak to all of them and there was time for a freestyle session, too.

New this month: podcast! We have had many demands for a downloadable show, and this edition is the first true podcast which you can download and even subscribe to. The other surprise this month is the presence of Cape Verdean presenter Revoltod, who was on holidays in the Netherlands, hanging out among the large Cape Verdean community in Rotterdam. Revoltod brought his old friend, Cape Verdean-Dutch emcee Vieira from the ZPK crew.

Drew, Revoltod & J4 turned the promo box upside down and selected the best tunes that came falling out, including the hilarious Afro-grime track 'Lidl' by Afrikan Boy, a Nigerian in the UK, Cape Verdean-French all-star team La mc Malcriado, a track by Fatim from the new compilation 'African-Underground - Depths of Dakar', 'Diombor', a song about the president of Senegal from Pee Froiss member Xuman's new album, and the club bangers 'Usijaribu' by Tanzanian AY and 'Casse ton cou' by Koba from Gabon.

Then the guests take over: Tanzania's female emcee Rah P who got famous with her verse on the club hit 'Mikasi' by Mangwair, South Africa's Zuluboy who just released his first album on the Native Rhythms label, American film maker 3rd Eye (Brett Mazurek) who talks about his upcoming documentary 'Diamonds in the Rough', and Vieira from Rotterdam who explains about a peculiar Dutch custom involving black-faced clowns celebrating with kids. All of them plus presenter Revoltod join in a freestyle session.
