Shad at Manifesto

Shad, real name Shadrach Kabango, was born in Kenya to Rwandan parents and is a bright, up-and-coming emcee from the city of London, Ontario (Canada). Early last summer our reporter Ado went to Manifesto which was like a warm-up event before the Brooklyn hip hop festival. Manifesto is a non-profit grassroots organization working to unite, energize, support and celebrate Toronto’s vibrant and diverse music and arts community.

Check out the video report and brief interview Ado did with Shad at Manifesto (be careful not to tilt your screen as the first part was filmed in a 90 degree angle) and watch his video ‘Rose Garden’.
